Milwaukee Bucks Make Roster Move Before Cavs Game

The Milwaukee Bucks made a roster move before Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Wisconsin.

Before the game, the Bucks assigned MarJon Beauchamp to the G League.

Via Eric Nehm of The Athletic: "The Bucks have assigned MarJon Beauchamp to the Wisconsin Herd, per the team.

The Herd play the Birmingham Squadron in Oshkosh tonight at 6pm."

Beauchamp was the 24th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his second season in the league (all with the Bucks).

He has played in 34 games and is averaging 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 40.3% from the three-point range.

The 23-year-old hasn't played in each of the previous two games, so going to the G League is a good move for him to get more playing time.

As for the Bucks, they are off to an excellent start to the season and are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-13 record in their first 43 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games.

Following Wednesday's game, the Bucks and Cavs will face off (again) on Friday in Milwaukee.

At home, the Bucks are a fantastic 19-4 in the 23 games.

Beauchamp has played in 86 regular season games and has career averages of 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 42.3% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range (he has also appeared in two NBA playoff games).
